Sanremo 2018: Baglioni mette al bando le eliminazioni

Il conduttore-conducente cancella anche la serata dedicata alle cover
Comincia a delinearsi il Sanremo (6-10 febbraio 2018) targato Claudio Baglioni: intervistato ieri (l’altro ieri, l’articolo è datato 12 ottobre, ndr) dal Tg1, il cantante ha annunciato la fine del meccanismo delle eliminazioni. Tutti i cantanti (big e giovani), pertanto, resteranno in gara fino alla finale del sabato. L’idea è quella di considerare la kermesse come una sorta di «festival del cinema o a un festival letterario». Eliminata, inoltre, la serata delle cover, sostituita da una riproposizione delle canzoni in gara con diversi arrangiamenti e performance (anche affiancati da ospiti). Baglioni si definisce un «conducente» piuttosto che un conduttore: «Il mio lavoro è già tantissimo, perché significa fare e decidere molti degli aspetti del Festival. Praticamente tutti, dalla scenografia, alla linea editoriale, ai contenuti, al significato generale di questo Festival, che vedrà la musica al centro, visto che hanno voluto dopo ben tre “no” un musicista e cantautore alla guida».
